The accommodation of the Kolb family is located in the village of Tauplitz, only a few minutes walk from the valley station of the mountain railroad to the Tauplitzalm.

The four newly built vacation apartments have a size of 51 m², 75 m², 80 m² and 83 m² and offer space for two to seven people.

If you arrive by car, a free parking lot is available.

In addition, we offer breakfast service, which is delivered directly to your apartment.

Apartment Bergerwand

From the apartment you can see a large rock face in the northwest of Tauplitz. It is called the Bergerwand. At the foot of the wall is the legendary Lieglloch, where Stone Age relics have been found and from where there is a great view of Grimming and Kulm.

Behind it are the Bergeralm and the Krahstein. Worthwhile destinations in summer and winter.

Apartment Grimming

From the balcony there is an impressive view. Straight ahead is the Grimming, an isolated mountain range that forms the demarcation between the Hinterberg Valley and the Enns Valley. The Grimming is a free-standing mighty mountain, which was once believed to be the highest mountain in Styria. It has a striking view from every side and offers several routes for experienced climbers to ascend.

Apartment Kulm

Enjoy the view of the Grimming from the apartment. And to the Kulm, located at the foot of the Grimming, after which this apartment is named. In the middle of the last century the first ski jump was built here. It was renewed and enlarged again and again. Today it is the largest natural ski jump in the world and every few years offers major sporting events that are broadcast around the world.

Apartment Sturzhahn

The apartment offers a fantastic view of the mountain panorama, from the Tauplitzalm. Here lies the Sturzhahn. An imposing peak that forms the western shoulder of the Großer Tragl and lies on the edge of the Tote Gebirge. The Sturzhahn rises from the Steirersee, which can be easily reached on foot, and offers a striking sight that can be found in many illustrations.
